Practice What I Teach…

One morning as I was getting ready for my day I opened my makeup drawer and thought, “WOW! This drawer looks awful”. As a personal organizer I would never allow a client to get away with such a mess. Continue reading

Valentine Sneak Peak…

We have a lot of fun goodies and treats coming up for Valentine’s Day over the next month. I thought I’d give a sneak peak on one of the crafts I’ve been working on so you can get a jumpstart on yours if you’d like. This would also make a great anniversary gift or just a token of affection for your significant other. The sentiment could also be changed to whatever is more fitting for the occasion. Crockpot Chicken & Stuffing

This is a super easy crockpot recipe that is perfect for a Monday. Coming off the weekend sometimes it’s tough to get back into the routine of weeknight meals. You can throw this in the crockpot fairly last minute and it will be ready by dinner time. I don’t know about where you live, but here in the East we’re experiencing single digit temperatures with the windchill. So this recipe is also a nice and hearty meal to warm you up on these frigid Winter days. Enjoy!

Cocktails & Conversations…

Most of my family knows my love for coffee. So for Christmas I received a box of coffee creamers. However, they are not your ordinary, everyday creamers.  They are tiny, individually-sealed RumChata creamers.

Now if you have never had RumChata, you are missing out.  It is a Caribbean rum with the freshest dairy cream, combined with a touch of natural cinnamon, vanilla, sugar and other secret flavors.  Imagine that combination added to your coffee for an extra kick! You can add these perfectly-portioned MiniChatas to your coffee for a tasty treat in the afternoon or evening. I wouldn’t recommend adding this to your morning coffee unless you are staying home all day! 🙂 Lindsay and I enjoyed ours as we chatted about our week.  Cheers!!

Melted Plastic Cup Ornaments

Over the holidays, while visiting with friends, we had such fun making these plastic cup ornaments. They are truly fun for all ages – the moms had just as much fun as the 1st grader, tweens and 13 year old! The beauty of this craft is that you can be as creative as you’d like or keep them simple. And they only take a few supplies and not a lot of time! Plus the “magic” of watching them melt is sure to get lots of “oohs” and “aahs” from everyone. Continue reading

When Good DIYs Go Bad…

Sometimes the DIYs on Pinterest are so cute and give you so much inspiration that you must try it yourself. I was recently inspired to make a creation… a creation from pumpkins. I had some really great-looking pumpkins that were leftover from the Fall decorations. I found this idea of using them and making a snowman. So, I thought, why not repurpose them for Winter?  Continue reading
