Jalapeno Popper Dip

One of my favorite things about football season is all of the yummy food! My family has several favorites that we save for game day. I wanted to share one that is sure to be a touchdown at your next gathering! And bonus – it’s easy peasy to make!! SCORE!

2 packages (8 oz each) softened cream cheese

1 cup mayonnaise

½ cup shredded Colby & Monterey Jack cheese

¼ cup canned chopped green chilies

¼ cup canned diced jalapeno peppers

1 cup shredded Italian cheese

½ cup Panko (Japanese) bread crumbs

Crackers or chips, for dipping

In a large bowl, mix the first five ingredients until well blended. Spread into an ungreased 9” pie plate. Sprinkle with the Italian cheese and top with bread crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve with your favorite crackers or chips.

*Full disclosure, this picture is before the dip was baked. We were so excited to dig right into the dip, I forgot to get a picture after it came out of the oven. It’s THAT good!
